Michael Lodato, PhD (2012-2019) > Assistant Professor

Mike joined the lab in 2012 after finishing his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His doctoral work, in the laboratory of Dr. Rudolf Jaensich, focused on investigating the transcriptional and epigenetic control of cell state in embryonic stem cells and neural precursor cells using ChIP-Seq, transcriptional profiling, and novel cellular differentiation models. His primary research interest in the Walsh lab was investigating somatic mutations in the human brain using single-cell, whole-genome sequencing.
