Xuyu Qian, PhD

Xuyu Qian â€‹received his PhD from Johns Hopkins University. His PhD work in the laboratory of Dr. Hongjun Song focused on developing methodologies for generating human induced-pluripotent stem cell-derived brain organoids as models for human brain development. In the Walsh Lab, Xuyu is interested in applying the brain organoid system to understanding the developmental mechanisms underlying human brain evolution and disorders.
