Gilad Evrony, MD, PhD

Gilad completed his undergraduate studies in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and joined the Walsh Lab as an MD-PhD student at Harvard Medical School. His PhD work focused on single-neuron sequencing, the transcriptome of the developing brain, and using next-generation sequencing technologies to find mutations in genes that are involved in human brain development. Following his MD-PhD studies, Gilad completed a pediatrics residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He is currently an assistant professor at the Center for Human Genetics and Genomics at New York University.
