Michael B. Miller, MD, PhD

Mike joined the lab in 2017 as a neuropathology fellow.  Mike completed his residency in Anatomic Pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and is presently a Neuropathology fellow at Brigham and Women’s and Boston Children’s Hospital.  Before coming to Boston, Mike received his M.D., Ph.D. training at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, where he completed his thesis research in biochemistry with Surachai Supattapone , studying the mechanism of formation and propagation of infectious mammalian prions.  Prior to his medical training, Mike studied in the Grinnell College inquiry-based biology curriculum, and worked on genetic imprinting with Karl Pfeifer at the NIH.  In the Walsh lab, Mike is studying somatic mutations in neurological disorders.
