There will be no unescorted public visitors in the CLS building. Visitors may park at the Carl J. Shapiro parking garage (off of Binney Street), the 333 Longwood parking garage, or the Children’s Hospital parking garage at 283 Longwood. Please note that BIDMC validation stickers will only be honored at the Carl J. Shapiro parking garage.

Driving:

 From Harvard Square:
Take John F. Kennedy Street out of Harvard Square and across the river. Turn left onto Soldiers Field Road (this turns into Storrow Drive). Continue on Storrow Drive approximately 2 miles to the Kenmore Square/Fenway exit. Take Fenway side of the exit to Boylston Street outbound following the signs for Brookline. Follow Brookline Avenue (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center will be on the left) turn left onto Longwood Avenue. Take a left onto Blackfan Circle. The CLS Building is on your left.

From North of Boston:
Take 1-93 South to exit 26 A (Leverett Circle/Cambridge). At end of ramp turn left onto Storrow Drive. Continue on Storrow Drive approximately 2 miles to Kenmore Square/Fenway exit. Take Fenway side of the exit to Boylston Street outbound following the signs for Brookline. Follow Brookline Avenue (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center will be on the left) turn left onto Longwood Avenue. Take a left onto Blackfan Circle. The CLS Building is on your left.

From West of Boston:
Take 1-90 (Mass Turnpike) east to exit 22 (Copley/Prudential) take the Prudential side and that will put you on Huntington Ave. Follow for approximately 1 mile turn right onto Longwood Ave. Take a right onto Blackfan Circle. The CLS Building is on your left.

From South of Boston:
Route 93 North to exit 18 (Mass. Ave). Follow exit and cross over Mass. Ave onto Melnea Cass Boulevard to the end. Take a left onto Tremont Street. Take the next Right onto Ruggles Street. Drive approx.5 miles and take a left onto Huntington Avenue. At the next intersection take a right onto Longwood Ave. Take a right onto Blackfan Circle. The CLS Building is on your left.

From Logan International Airport (Boston, Mass):
By Taxi: 30-40 minutes, $28-40
By Subway: 30-45 minutes, $1. 70 (if using a CharlieCard--can be purchased online at www.mbta.com) or $2.00 (CharlieTicket purchased at train station)
 
  • Take the free airport shuttle bus to the AIRPORT train station (blue line)
  • Take the Blue Line inbound four stops to GOVERNMENT CENTER
  • Go up one flight of stairs to the Green Line and take a "D" Riverside train to Longwood (second stop once the train comes above ground to street level) or an “E” Heath Street train to the Longwood Medical Area stop. (third station once the train comes above ground to street level).
  • Walk down Longwood Ave to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / CLS (Approximately 4 blocks East from “D” line or 6 blocks West from “E” line.)
From Railroad & Bus Terminal:
Amtrak trains and bus terminals are located at South Station and North Station in Boston.

By Subway from North Station: 30-45 minutes, $1.70 (if using a CharlieCard--can be purchased online at www.mbta.com) or $2.00 (CharlieTicket purchased at train station)
  • Follow signs to Green Line/subway station. Take Green Line "E" Heath Street train to Longwood Medical Area (third stop once the train comes above ground to street level)

Walk down Longwood Ave to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center /CLS (Approximately 6 blocks West from “E” line.)

By Subway from South Station: 30-45 minutes, $1.70 (if using a CharlieCard--can be purchased online at www.mbta.com) or $2.00 (CharlieTicket purchased at train station)

  • Take Red Line inbound to Park Street.
  • Connect to Green Line (upstairs).
  • Take a "D" Riverside train to Longwood.. (second stop once the train comes above ground to street level) or an “E” Heath Street train to the Longwood Medical Area stop. (third station once the train comes above ground to street level).
  • Walk down Longwood Ave to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center /CLS (Approximately 4 blocks East from “D” line or 6 blocks West from “E” line.)
